Fiestas are an important part of Spanish Life and with that in mind, we thought that a little taste might be of interest to others as well.
Three Kings
On the 6th January there is an important Fiesta which equals our Christmas. A parade of the three Kings takes place the night before through the Villages with presents being given to the local children.
The ceremony concludes with Fireworks in front of the Church
Las Fallas
During the year the figures are being created and at Las Fallas they are erected in the various Plaza’s. After judging has taken place, they are spectacularly set alight!!
Moors & Christians
Fantastic Parades through the Villages & Towns provide excellent entertainment to celebrate the Christians conquering the Moors. The costumes are truly stunning.
